Post graduate training in Overload and contrast echocardiography at Hospital Clínico San Carlos, Madrid (2007);

European Accreditation in Echocardiography by EACVI - European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (2014);

Postgraduate training in Three-Dimensional Echocardiography (3D/4D) at the University Hospital of Padua, Italy (2015);

Postgraduate training in Cardiac Angio-CT (Porto 2019). 

Professional Activity

Responsible for the Cardiology Service at the Hospital Particular da Madeira (since 2019);

Coordinator of the Echocardiography Laboratory of the Private Hospital of Madeira (since 2019);

Consultant Degree in Cardiology since 2015;

Coordinator of the Echocardiography Laboratory at the Hospital Central do Funchal (2012-2019);

Areas of differentiation: - Valvular disease, Heart failure, Cardiomyopathies, Cardio-Oncology and Ischemic heart disease. - Cardiac Imaging - Echocardiography (all specialties) and Cardiac Computed Tomography. 

Scientific / Pedagogical Activity

Author and co-author of scientific articles published in national and international scientific journals;

Lectures and scientific communications in Scientific Meetings and Congresses;

Awarded scientific papers and Investigator in clinical trials and registries;

Tutor of doctors in specific training in Cardiology, Internal Medicine and General Medicine and responsible for internships of medical school students

Trainer and organizer of several courses in the cardiovascular area.

Complementary diagnostic tests: ECG, Stress Test, Holter and MAP, 2D and 3D/4D Transthoracic Echocardiogram, Transesophageal Echocardiogram, Pharmacological Stress and Exercise Echocardiogram, Contrast Echocardiogram. Cardiac Angio CT.
