Mastopexy (breast lift)
This is a procedure that allows the correction of breast ptosis (descent), with repositioning and rising of the breast, improvement of its shape and projection, and filling of the upper pole, which is emptied and conditions the use of clothing and appearance of the neckline.
Also known as breast lift, or breast reaffirmation surgery, performed under general anaesthesia and with a 1-day hospital stay, it is a technique that confers a rejuvenation of the breast using its own tissues, without the need for prostheses, allowing the correction of asymmetries and the positioning of the breast at an aesthetically pleasing level.
The location of the scars is similar to that of the reduction mammaplasty technique, and the extent of the scars is usually smaller, varying with the degree of breast fall and the amount of skin that needs to be removed.
Mastopexia (levantamento da mama)
É um procedimento que permite a correção da ptose (descida) mamária, com reposicionamento e subida da mama, com melhoria da sua forma e projeção e preenchimento do polo superior, que se encontra esvaziado e condiciona o uso do vestuário e aparência do decote.
Também conhecida como lift mamário, ou cirurgia para reafirmação do peito, realizada sob anestesia geral e com internamento de 1 dia, é uma técnica que confere um rejuvenescimento da mama utilizando os seus próprios tecidos, sem necessidade de utilização de próteses, permitindo a correção de assimetrias e o posicionamento da mama a um nível esteticamente agradável.
A localização das cicatrizes é similar à da técnica da mamoplastia de redução, sendo que a extensão das cicatrizes é habitualmente menor, variando com o grau de queda da mama e da quantidade de pele que é necessário remover.
