The HPA Health Group and the Up Clinic started a new health and aesthetic project that aims to be a reference in the various regions where HPA operates. With this in mind, a concept of plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine was created and a brand developed that aims to serve all those looking for rejuvenation, correction and facial or body remodelling treatment. 
The new UP HPA brand, reflects the strong commitment of the HPA Group and the Up Clinic and has resulted in the consolidation of an already existing relationship. The Up Clinic was already working in the various Units of the HPA Group in the Algarve, with aesthetic medicine consultations and treatment and all aesthetic surgeries. The Up Clinic has been operating in recent years at the Gambelas Hospital, Alvor Hospital and at the São Gonçalo Hospital in Lagos as well as at the Clínica Particular in Vilamoura.
The purpose of the Up Clinic is to make everyone's dreams and wishes come true in relation to their body, resulting in physical, psychological and social well-being, with total respect for each one’s individua-
lity, improving self-esteem and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Taking advantage of the synergy between the international specialization of Up Clinic as a partner of national reference in aesthetics and the quality and coverage of the HPA Group, this new project was born, offering a guarantee in excellence, as a health care and well-being provider. 

THE TEAM
The UP HPA medical team will be led by two specialists from the UP Clinic Team, both national references; 
in Plastic Surgery Dr Tiago Baptista Fernandes and in Aesthetic Medicine Dr Vítor Figueiredo, both excellent professionals with extensive experience. Several professionals from both the Up Clinic and the HPA Group will be integrating the UP HPA medical team.
Focused on continuous specialization, UP HPA will also be promoting various training sessions for employees of the Group, as well several information meetings aimed at our patients. 

DR TIAGO BAPTISTA FERNANDES
Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Lisbon University in 1999. Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist in 2007.
In 2003, founded the Portuguese Institute of Plastic Surgery and in 2017 the ASA - Aesthetic & Surgery Academy that includes an annual facial anatomy course at the University of Lyon.

tructive and Aesthetic Surgery, The International Society of Aesthetic Surgery, The British Association of Aesthe-
tic Plastic Surgeons, The European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Dr Tiago Baptista Fernandes comes from a family of plastic surgeons. He is a third-generation Plastic Surgeon. A profession that he loves and to which he is dedicated body and soul, like his grandfather before him, PhD. António Baptista Fernandes, known in Portugal as the “father of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery”.

DR VÍTOR FIGUEIREDO
Founder and Medical Director of the Aesthetic Medicine Unit of the Up Clinic - Surgery & Aesthetics. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Coimbra University in 1998.
He completed his training in several countries. Obtained his University Specialist Diploma in Antiaging Medicine at the Seville University. Completed the international university course on aesthetic and anti-aging medicine at the UIME (International Union of Aesthetic Medicine). He also has an international certificate on anti-aging medicine by the Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine International Society. He was the first Portuguese doctor who graduated from UIME.
Dr Vitor Figueiredo has always been interested in Aesthetic Medicine. He has over 15 years clinical experience in several areas. He has trained in different parts of the world and has participated in courses, workshops, congresses, symposiums and other events, having made several presentations, communications and publications.
As a key opinion leader, he is an international reference in Aesthetic Medicine, belonging, among others, to the Allergan international «Advisory Board», as well as to various international societies.
All Plastic Surgery procedures will be performed, but there is a special focus on procedures that guarantee the best results:
