O PRO HPA it is based on two concepts: personalization and advanced technology. Personalization because we thoroughly study the best option for each of our patients; advanced technology because we only use the most recent options available, guaranteed to provide best results.
During the 1st appointment, we begin with a careful anamnesis (medical history), and a medical examination of the oral cavity including an orthopantomography as an auxiliary diagnostic tool, that will permit us to establish the first approach of a personalized treatment plan.
When we progress to a 2nd appointment, it may be necessary to perform a CBCT - Cone Beam Computed Tomography, clinical analyses and, of course, study models.
We then progress onto the surgical phase with placement of the implant , with minimal discomfort for the patient, under local anaesthesia. In some situations, it may be necessary to resort to bone regeneration surgery, which may take place before or during the placement of the implant.
If the medical situation permits, it is during this appointment that the immediate implant placement is carried out.
The permanent prosthesis is placed only when the total osteointegration of the implant has occurred, which can be between 3 to 6 months.
Finally, we reach the maintenance phase. This stage is of special importance for the success of the treatment, which consists of regular appointment every 6 months, which are crucial for the implant to remain healthy, to guarantee that there is no risk of periodontal diseases, such as peri-implantitis.
