Chronic rhinosinusitis is a prevalent and multifaceted condition with a significant impact on patients' quality of life. In this context, the RhinoSinus 2025: New Trends in Rhinology course aims to provide a distinctive educational experience, focused on scientific updates and real practical exposure, in an intimate and highly participative format.
With a maximum of just 10 participants, the course fosters a unique proximity between instructors and trainees, enabling focused, interactive learning tailored to the questions and interests of each professional. This edition will take place at the Hospital Particular do Algarve – Alvor, on 30 May 2025, and will feature leading experts in the field of rhinology.
The programme includes theoretical sessions dedicated to highly relevant topics, such as the use of balloon dilation techniques in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis and Eustachian tube dysfunction — two minimally invasive approaches that are gaining increasing prominence in modern clinical practice. Special attention will also be given to the emerging role of biological therapies in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps, with a critical review of the latest evidence and discussion on patient selection criteria.
One of the key distinguishing features of RhinoSinus 2025 will be the performance of four live surgeries in a surgical theatre setting, offering participants the opportunity to closely follow each step of the procedures, interact directly with the surgeons, and engage in real-time discussion. This hands-on experience is designed to provide high-level training with immediate application in clinical practice.
