- Throughout your career, what has been the biggest challenge you have faced as a woman in a leadership position?
Not only in this company but in general, we are still a minority in leadership positions. The biggest challenge I initially faced was making myself heard and earning my place. Of course, confidence builds over time, but it requires resilience and determination. However, day by day, we gain the trust and credibility needed for our voices to not only be heard but truly valued.
- How important is female empowerment in the corporate environment, especially in the healthcare sector, where women are significantly represented?
Women naturally tend to be more empathetic, which is an essential trait, particularly in healthcare. In this sense, female empowerment strengthens women’s visibility and expands their influence, enhancing their abilities. In general, women are naturally multitaskers in their daily lives, and this skill is reflected in the professional environment. In the corporate context, this empowerment becomes evident, enabling us to perform multiple roles simultaneously and efficiently. Moreover, empathy and having an active voice make processes and teamwork smoother, contributing to a more harmonious and productive workplace.
- What role do women play in transformation and innovation in the healthcare sector?
There is no right or wrong answer to this, but the truth is that, as women, we often feel the need to give even more to prove our worth. This constant pursuit of recognition drives us to seek new solutions with creativity and resilience. We bring unique experiences that enrich decision-making processes, leading to greater creativity and more effective solutions.
- Finally, what message would you like to share with the female employees of the HPA Saúde Group on International Women’s Day?
The message I would like to leave not only to our incredible female employees but to all women is that today, on International Women’s Day, we celebrate our strength and determination. I want to start by saying that we should feel confident and proud of who we are and what we do. We are beautiful, strong, courageous, intelligent, and highly capable. We can achieve anything we set our minds to, and there are no limits to what we can accomplish. Happy International Women’s Day!
