Immediate Life Support Training for Nurses
As part of the HPA Health Group's Resuscitation Training Programme, another Immediate Life Support training session for nurses took place last week. This course aims to prepare nursing professionals in recognising and managing patients with clinical deterioration, as well as responding effectively in cases of cardiorespiratory arrest. Throughout the day, participants delved into essential topics such as:
- Causes and prevention of cardiorespiratory arrest;
- ABCDE approach;
- Airway management;
- Recognition of shockable/non-shockable rhythms;
- Basic and Advanced Life Support algorithms;
- Case resolution of cardiorespiratory arrest scenarios.
This knowledge-sharing session was primarily aimed at the continuous development of the nursing team, with the goal of further improving the quality of care provided to our patients.
In line with the guidelines of the Joint Commission International, the HPA Health Group reaffirms its commitment to excellence by continually investing in training programmes for its professionals.
