The HPA Group participated in the 4th Breast Cancer Congress of the Algarve, held on February 14th and 15th, 2025, in Lagos, at the Vila Galé Hotel. This event, with the theme "Health in the Digital Age: Technology as an Ally," highlighted the digital revolution in women's healthcare, with a focus on breast cancer, one of the fields where technological transformation has been most noticeable.
It was a unique opportunity to share knowledge on how artificial intelligence is shaping the future of cancer treatment and patient follow-up. The HPA Group is proud to contribute to the advancement of best practices in healthcare.
At this event, we were represented by oncologist Dr. Magda Cordeiro, who discussed various treatments in the fight against breast cancer, including chemotherapy, hormone therapy, and immunotherapy; psychologist Miguel Coutinho, who shared his experience on the role of Virtual Reality in the psychological approach to patients; and Dr. André Andraz Cruz, who participated in a roundtable on the multidisciplinary approach to a clinical case.
