17 years of care, dedication, and proximity. Since 2007, Clínica Particular Medchique and its entire team have played an important role in promoting health within the local community, offering a wide range of medical specialties, complementary exams, and physiotherapy services.
To celebrate this anniversary of Medchique, we share a few words from the Director of the Unit, Bruno Estremores.
- What is your retrospective view of these 17 years of Clínica Particular Medchique – Monchique?
The balance is undoubtedly very positive! We can say with quiet and secure pride that we have contributed to improving the health of those who seek us, especially the communities of Monchique.
- What is the main differentiating characteristic of Clínica Particular Medchique - Monchique?
It is undoubtedly our proximity to the local population. The fact that we (almost) all know each other makes the delivery of healthcare much more personalised and humanised.
- What have been your greatest achievements?
We have managed to bring excellent healthcare professionals to Monchique. This has allowed us to provide a better response with a General Medicine and Family Medicine doctor, available four days a week. This specialty is extremely important, especially for an older population.
- As a clinic with close ties to the community, what message would you like to leave for those who visit us?
The message is one of GRATITUDE. Gratitude to our patients for choosing us and for gifting us with their trust and even friendship. If we are not able to assist directly and immediately at Medchique, it will be at another unit within the HPA Health Group's network of care.
